Ukraine
In January 2007, the new Ukraine adoption authority, the State Department for Adoption and Protection of Rights of the Child (SDAPRC), will begin accepting new adoption applications from families in the United States. After helping families complete their adoptions in Ukraine for many years, we are very excited to resume our Ukraine program and to find loving, nurturing, and permanent homes for the many available children there.
Both our US-based Ukraine adoption program coordinator and our Ukraine-based adoption partners are knowledgeable and experienced, and have been helping families complete their adoptions of Ukrainian children.
Many families appreciate that they are actively involved in the matching process. After meeting your child, the adoption process in Ukraine is often completed in about three weeks, and then you and your child can travel back home to the US.
MAPS is now accepting applications for this program.
