Humanitarian Aid

Humanitarian aid has always been a focal point of the MAPS mission. Since 1977, we have placed children from all over the world. But we also care deeply about the children who stay behind, living in poverty or in orphanages. To make life better for as many as we can, we dedicate a substantial portion of program fees to aid in our efforts in the U.S. and overseas. We also encourage all of our families, as well as our communities, to put forth efforts on behalf of the children. Efforts include support towards building or renovating new orphanages, establishing maternal and child health centers, developing sponsorships for children, in-country medical teams, and many other worthwhile projects.
