Family Stability Programs

Supporting healthy families is a cornerstone of our mission. Services include scholarships for women trying to build a stable future after placing a child for adoption; specialized support for adoptive families whose children are struggling with emotional/adjustment issues; financial assistance to qualified families wanting to adopt; and partnerships with other organizations to find homes for children or to help families in crisis (such as ASHA, an organization in India helping impoverished and abused women build a better future for themselves and their children.) Other programs include shelters for pregnant and parenting homeless women, and Stepping Stones, which provides a safe environment for homeless and runaway youth who are pregnant and/or parenting while building life skills for healthy independent living free from government assistance.
